1. I am alumnus. Can I apply at Clusterstar even if I was not a member during my studies?
Yes. Our Alumni Program explicitely endorses alumni participating on projects. Additional to their nine-to-five job alumni have
the opportunity to join projects and contribute their academical knowledge and practical experience. In addition alumni can gain
further experience as well as raise their value on the job market by adding Clusterstar project work to their CV.
1. I am not studying business or economics. Can I become a member anyway?
Yes. Clusterstar supports the membership of students with not business or economics related fields. By maintaining a
certain academic variety within our pool of consultants we ensure a broadly diversified knowledge base.
2. Does being a member of Clusterstar cost anything?
No. The membership at Clusterstar is completely free of charge. There are neither membership fees nor admission fees.
3. What exaclty is a Profit Center?
A Profit Center is a local network of student management consultants from different universities and colledges. This
local network is lead by a Profit Center Manager, who is responsible for different assignments in the application process as well as project aquisition and organisation.
4. How high is the commision?
The day rate of a man day at Clusterstar is 200,- Euro pre-tax.
5. How can I end my membership at Clusterstar?
The membership at Clusterstar can be cancelled at any time in written form (via mail or email) without mentioning any reasons.
6. Do I have to have studied a certain number of semesters to be able to apply at Clusterstar?
No. An application is even possible before you start your studies (§3 III 1 Recruitment Policy).
7. Can I apply at Clusterstar during my undergraduate (Bachelor) studies?
Yes.
8. Can I apply at Clusterstar during my graduate (Master) studies?
Yes. With a bachelor's degree there is the possibility of skipping the level of the Junior Consultant and start off as a Senior Consultant.
9. Can I apply at Clusterstar during my graduate (PhD) studies?
Yes. As a PhD student there is the possibility of skipping the level of the Junior Consultant and start off as a Senior Consultant.

10. There is no Profit Center in the direct proximity of my home, am I still allowed to apply at Clusterstar?
Yes. The participation at international projects is ensured even if you don't join an existing Profit Center. Furthermore is Clusterstar a young,
growing company, which is continously expanding it's network of Profit Centers.
11. At which point am I allowed to apply for Profit Center Manager at Clusterstar?
An application for Profit Center Manager is possible at the level of Manager.
12. At which point am I allowed to apply for Regional Manager at Clusterstar?
An application for Regional Manager is possible at the level of Senior Manager.
13. At which point am I allowed to apply for Key Account Manager at Clusterstar?
The application for Key Account Manager is controlled by a special set of rules. After passing a seperate individual application procedure it is possible to enter the position of Key Account Manager.
14. At which point am I allowed to apply for Quality Manager at Clusterstar?
An application for Quality Manager is possible at the level of Junior Manager.
15. What does it mean to set myself to 'passive'?
You can request the status 'passive' for a certain (recommended) or an uncertain time. During this status your access to the Cluster Office,
the reception of emails as well as the participation at projects and other operative activities will be limited. After reactivating your membership, you will get back all your privileges.
16. How do I set myself to 'passive'?
You can set yourself passive using the Cluster Office. Additional details about the reason, duration and extensiveness of the furthermore desired information simplifies our personal planning.
17. How do I reactivate my membership?
The limited access to the Cluster Office includes the function to reactivate your membership.
After setting yourself to 'passive' you will have to wait at least 30 days to reactivate yourself.
18. What do I have to do if I want to discontinue my membership for a certrain or uncertain time?
In this case you can set yourself to 'passive'.
19. How does non-university / extracurricular / practical experience meet my application?

20. How does the participation on external projects work?
The projects that need to be staffed are post in the Cluster Office. By a simple application routine, all relevant competences of the applicants are sent to the Project Manager, who creates, depending on the contract, an international project team.
